Ethanol Plant for Alta

The 115 million gallon a year plant is a go! Denver based BioFuel Energy LLC plans to begin construction prior to June this year at the site located between Alta and Aurelia just off Iowa highway 7. Buena Vista county gave BioFuel ENergy LLC a $7.875 million tax abaement over the span of 18 years.

A previous post noted the number of homes available in Aurelia, if you would like to do a little real estate investing it may pay to take a drive.

There are a lot of house for sale in Aurelia, I thought about looking into a few of them but, I was a little nervous. I didn't think about the ethanol plant - what time can you look at a couple of them with me next week?

I will do some checking and get a hnadle on what would be good prospects and email you what I think. I am available Thursday afternoon between 2 and 4. Hope that works - bring a flashlight, tape measure, paper and I always bring my camera. Plan on looking at 3-4 houses.
There is also a property coming on marshall sale through the USDA in Storm Lake you may wnat to check out. I'll bring that info with me.
